Grape Variety: Hand-picked and sorted, wild then cultured yeast, 15-25 days on skins, matured for 12 months in French oak (35% new). Bright crimson-purple. Fresh vibrant cassis, bay leaf, green and black olives; a long finish, good balance. Scored 95 points in the 2020 James Halliday Wine Companion.

Cabernet Sauvignon / Franc 2018
Grape Variety: Identical cepage to its ’17 sibling (35% cabarnet sauvignon, 25% Cabernet franc, 15% each merlot and Malbec and 10% petit verdot). Holding its colour very well; slightly less intense, partly due to the vintage, partly age. The black-palate / tannins are almost sweet (not sugar).
Food Pairings: Meatball Gnocchi | Veal Cotoletta.
Our Many Hands Winery Cabernet Sauvignon / Franc 2018 is an old vine Cabernet blend. (A classic Bordeaux-style blend of five grape varieties.) Two years in French oak. Rich black fruits and hints of tobacco leaf, balanced with cedary oak. Hard to resist this right now. One of our finest and will sell out fast.

Our Yarra Valley Chardonnay is full of citrus, pineapple, apple blossom and nutty aromas. The palate is spicy with sweet vanilla oak. The finish is long and rich. A full-flavoured wine that will continue to improve with two to three years in bottle. A great wine in the $35 price range.

The Many Hands Yarra Valley Wine Region Chardonnay 2018 is clean with an array of fresh fruit characters – green apple, pear, citrus and white peach. Judicious use of oak during fermenting and maturation has resulted in subtle characters on nose and palate. Youthful now, with potential to develop further.

Grape Variety: The grapes are sourced from 2 vineyard sites aged 15years and 37 years. were picked by hands and whole bunch sorted before being crushed and destemmed and fermented in tank. The wine spent around 15-25 days on skins before being moved into barrels (with 35% new oak) for maturation for 12 months.

One of the worlds oldest varieties with high variability. The Yarra Valley produces medium to full bodied Shiraz with blackberries and wild bramble fruit characters, spice, pepper and fine tannins.
