Many Hands Winery
The Estate

The wines are made from the estate grown and non-irrigated vines. The vineyard was close planted in 1982 and has deep root systems going down to 2.5 metres, imparts unique and intense flavours into the wines.

The vineyard is just under 6 acres growing Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Shiraz and Malbec. Many of the varietals are grown in very small quantities and are used for blending.

The Process

Each Winter the vines are hand-pruned and then shoot-thinned through Spring and early-Summer to allow sufficient light and air movement around the grapes.

Harvest takes place in March and the grapes are handpicked before being hand- sorting to ensure only the best fruit is selected.

The Finished Product

Winemaking occurs on site with the grapes being pressed and the juice fermented and settled before being transferred into French oak Barriques to mature over winter. The wines are finned and filtered then bottled by hand.
